Taman Pertanian Malaysia

Pandu Puteri had a trip to Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam at Shah Alam.

There were 20 plus of us comprising the Form Fives and the Afternoon sessions.

The teachers were Cik Lee, Cik Fung and Cik Fong.

Reached our destination at around 8.30 a.m.

We wanted to ride bicycles, but we took the Park Bus instead due to the long queue and scarce of bicycles.

our tour guide, Zul briefing

Our first station: Empangan Sungai Baru

It's a place for fishes and we got to feed them.

We did some Pandu Puteri claps like the Tepuk Perpaduan, Banana and so on.

Second station: Perkampungan Budaya

We could take a look at the traditional houses of different states in Malaysia.

Next station: Taman Rempah Ratus

We saw no spices and herbs plant except for the lime and lady's finger.

We moved on to: Taman Iklim Sederhana 4 Musim
Oh, the best place! 'Coz it was only 20 plus degree Celcius inside! There were many flowers which live in cooler climate region.

Next: Rest and lunch at the Menara don't-know-what

the view after reaching the top of the tower

I love the gym-like equipment there. Super fun!

sooo romantic

Lastly: Taman Haiwan

Oh yes. I have to mention this. Ah Chong the parrot is a kind of smart creature. It waited until all of us came close to its cage before it started to perform. It's a spotlight stealer! Whenever there was a camera focusing at it, it went closer to you so as to capture the best picture of it! Smart ass! Lol.

Ah Chong

Oh yeah. I touched a horse! Alright, no big deal, I knew it. But it was my first time getting so close to a horse. Teeeheee. Cute and, in the meantime, kinda scary too ('coz its head's BIG).

Dropped by a stall for some drinks and refreshments.

The tour ended at 2 p.m. plus and we thanked the two tour guides with our very own Pandu Puteri Tepukan Terima Kasih.

Waited impatiently for the bus to come and pick us up.

Back to school by 3.40 p.m.

Overall, it was an awesome trip! Too bad, we couldn't ride the bikes. And we walked most of the time which we weren't supposed to, as they promised us there would be a Park Bus fetching us around. And if we were lucky, we could board a bus along the way, but only in a sardine-like packed bus and it took freaking long time waiting for one! Forget 'bout this. Our lunch was quite delicious.

Lastly, thanks to everyone! And teachers as well, they brought us a lot of food!
